ABOUT US

WNOOZOW reacts to Czech and Slovak tradition for craftsmanship. We are influenced by the traditions of making fabric and tapestries, which have existed for more than 400 years. Our main focus is on weaving techniques, but we also spin yarn, dye fabric and work with nonwoven materials. Studio has three main characteristics: craftmanshift, art and technology. All of these characteristics are deeply connected and together they create our carefully crafted, unique final products.

Many years of experience with different types of textiles. We work only with local producers, local materials. Everything is made with love for the environment. All of our products are made by hand and with love. Every design is a new journey.

The goal of WNOOZOW is to build a house of craft and to interlink textile techniques, technologies. As a company we strive to connect designers, technologists and buyers and to continue with the slow fashion movement. It is important for us to create a safe space for people working in the industry and to rediscover histories from the textile industry in the area and abroad.

HOW WE WORK

Demand of client

Frequently, we get requests from clients. Every design is catered to the individual's needs. With hand-looms we are able to make almost every design. The intricacy of the design determines the time needed to make the product. Your fabric is discussed with our R&D team and every step is discussed with the client.

Our designs

Usually we create two collections per year. Mostly it’s pure wool, linen or combination of these two. Fabrics are made in Prague, in our studio or in Slovakia, in the factory. Inspiration comes from what we see around us and what is discussed in atelier as a topic we talk a lot about.
